Ok I have had it with big corporations- I have been told twice this week in interviews that I need to cut my hair. The largest part of my income comes from modeling and stripping in which my long hair is a plus. I keep it trimmed and clean-it's not like I'm a chef where hair would get into the food. Most of the comments come from balding men. Do I really need to cut my hair to be considered a grownup professional? I'm thinking of making a life with Mattie and maybe a family. What do you guys think?
So the people who tell you to shorten your hair are for a corporate job, like an accountant? Could you still model and strip with shorter hair? I could have long hair at the library if I wanted to but probaly not if I worked in a bank. Your skills as an adult in business or in a family are independent of hair length. But to get the job, you may have to follow their rules about appearance. I'm glad I don't have to.
